Happy one year anniversary to us!
One year ago today at 7 pm, I walked on 48th St toward the Longacre Theater and saw Ben in his suit and carrying a small case, standing in front of the theater waiting for me. After a couple weeks of emailing back and forth, we were on our first date to see Chinglish. Then we went to Caselulla for wine and cheese. We’ve been together ever since.
If you ask Ben what made him decide that I was the one for him, he’ll answer that I’m smart, beautiful, and an absolute pain in the ass. I will admit that I argued quite vehemently on our first date that I was laid-back. He said that he knew then I was trouble and that he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Ben is supportive, loving, and caring. No matter what I know that I rely on Ben and I can trust with him with anything. This past year has been full of laughter, travel, happiness, and above all, love. It’s been a wonderful first year together and we are both excited to spend the rest of our lives together. We’ve planned some big changes in our lives for this year. I can’t wait to see what happens. I love you, Ben.
